Find out how to relieve psoriasis using natural, inexpensive treatments.

Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin disease that results in red, scaled plaques on the elbows, knees and scalp. Because psoriasis is recurrent, it is very important to find the right treatment that can help you each time you have flare-ups.

There are many psoriasis treatments out there,  but,  unfortunately, some of them can be quite expensive. Luckily, many people have managed to cure their psoriasis using less expensive natural home remedies. Here is a list of the most effective ones:

  1. Coconut oil

Coconut oil is a very effective and easy to use home remedy for psoriasis. Simply mix 2 teaspoons of the oil in water, juice, coffee or tea, and drink this mixture three times every. If you do not like the taste, you can also apply it on your skin, on the affected areas.

  1. Cashew oil

Apply cashew oil on your skin every night, before bedtime. To get the best results, it is recommended to leave it on over night. Make sure the skin is very clean before applying the oil.

  1. Chamomile and burdock mix

Boil chamomile flowers and burdock seeds in water for 10-15 minutes, and than filter the water. Drink 4 tablespoons of this liquid, three times per day. If you do not like the taste you can add honey or sugar to make it sweeter.

  1. Petroleum jelly

Apply petroleum jelly on the affected area, after every shower or bath. Petroleum jelly will moisturize your skin, making recovery faster.

  1. Aloe Vera and garlic oil

Mix garlic oil with aloe gel and apply this ointment on the skin at least 2 times per day. Many patients reported that this psoriasis home remedy worked very well for them.

  1. Sea water baths

Sea water baths have been proven to be very effective home remedies for psoriasis. Fill your bathtub with sea water or mix some sea salt in normal water. Sit in the bathtub for about 20-30 minutes per day.

  1. Natural psoriasis creams

There are many natural psoriasis creams available on the market. They contain all the ingredients you need to treat this disease, and they are also less expensive than other treatment methods.
