Learn how to get rid of stretch marks using only natural, inexpensive methods

Stretch marks are red-blue scars that appear on different surfaces on the skin, due to over-stretching. They usually occur due to rapid gain weight, for example in pregnant women or teenagers. Even though they do not cause any physical discomfort, they can be extremely unpleasant, because they change the appearance of your skin. Many women make great effort and spend a great amount of money to remove these scars, to be able to show their skin without feeling embarrassed.

What most women do not know is that there are a variety of natural, less expensive remedies for stretch marks. Here is a list of the most effective ones:

  1. Lavender oil

Massage the affected area with lavender oil, for at least three times per day. It is not necessary to remove it afterwards, as it will be absorbed by the body after a while. If you do want to wash it off, make sure to leave it on for at least 10 minutes before cleansing the area.

  1. Zinc

Eat foods that are rich in zinc — peanuts, beans, brown rice, wholegrain cereals. Zinc consumption is believed to be very effective in reducing stretch marks.

  1. Aloe Vera

Rub the affected area with Aloe Vera gel, which is one of the best stretch marks natural remedies. Apply this treatment daily, one or two times per day.

  1. Almond, chamomile and lavender oil

Mix a few drops of almond oil with lavender and chamomile oil and massage the affected area with this mixture. It will reduce the scars and also rejuvenate your skin.

  1. Olive oil and Vitamin E

Use a cream that contains Vitamin E and mix it with olive oil. Massage your body with this ointment every day, preferably before you go to sleep, as olive oil takes a while to be absorbed by the skin.

  1. Natural stretch marks creams

Another good way to remove the stretch marks is to use natural stretch marks creams. Many of them are very effective and less expensive than other treatments.
